How do you generally
converse with others? Is it interesting or boring? This article gives you a few
tips on how to converse in an interesting way and the benefits you get. Read on
to find out.
Here are the tips:
1) While
you turn on an eager ear, grab everything the other person has to say. Details
such as homes she lived, the roles of people in her life, how many children she
has, what they are doing and what brought her to the current status will help.
When you collect information about the
people you meet (that info they are willing to give you), make a note of them.
Guess what you may write a fiction story based on their lives under new names.
So monetize the exciting conversations you have with people wherever you go.
2) So
long the other person can speak and write in English, listen to their
interesting stories and ask them to coauthor with you (those who look
promising). That way you can share your ideas and themes and place them nicely
in the form of a book and sell it on Amazon.
3) The
more you write about interesting people after conversing with them, the more
you will know what the audience likes to read and leverage the themes of your
books to satisfy them. It is a simple
trick and it always works.
4) How
do you know how much the interesting people in your life are willing to reveal
about them? Just ask quick questions until they are able to say no longer. Give
them space and make them feel comfortable but never say that you are willing to
put them in your fiction stories. Because otherwise they may feel discomfort
and unable to talk about themselves any longer, feeling numb and insecure.
5) Make
others feel good by directing your conversations in exciting and invigorating
ways making the other person willing to converse more and more. Once the
conversation ends uninterrupted, both of you have something to gain. The person
conversing will feel full of joy and happiness because somebody was interested
in his/her life story which s/he was willing to impart while the person with
the listening ear will have extracted a new story with bends and twists, which
is likely to be liked by the big audience out there once you have it in print.
Summing up, these are a few
tips on how you can produce stories from people’s lives by allowing a listening
ear and making the other person fulfilled. The more interesting conversations
you hold with people, the more people you get with their exhilarating journeys
until today and the more you have the capacity to put in print and monetize.
